Sabers Continue ROARING in Winter Post-Season Action!

Spence student-athletes have continued to ROAR throughout the winter post-season! In the last two weeks, both the Squash and Indoor Track teams successfully defended their 2022 AAIS Championship titles, repeating as 2023 AAIS Champions. Last Friday, Squash also captured their 2nd consecutive NYSAIS Squash Championship!

This weekend is another busy one for the Sabers as on Friday, February 24th the Sabers' Indoor Track team takes to the oval at the New Balance Armory at 5pm at the NYSAIS Indoor Track Championship. The 2022 NYSAIS runner-up will have more than a dozen student-athletes on the hunt for more NYSAIS hardware and the opportunity to qualify for the 2023 NYS Federation Indoor Track Championship.

Also on Friday, the Sabers' Squash team will cap off another tremendously successful season and take to the courts at the Arlen Specter Squash Center in Philadelphia at the US Squash High School Team Nationals, February 24-26.

On Saturday, February 25th at the Horace Mann School, sophomore Spence Swim standout, Naomi B. will compete in the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Backstroke at the NYSAIS Swim Championships! Naomi, a 2022 NYSAIS Swim medalist will look to repeat the feat, having turned in personal best performances in both events at Wednesday's prelims.  MAKE WAVES, Naomi!

Continue to ROAR, Sabers!
