The Math Team, comprised of the Spence Gold and Spence Blue teams, participated in the Downtown Mathematics Invitational (DMI) at Stuyvesant. 49 teams from independent and public schools across the city competed in a day-long series of four rounds of competitions.

 

Spence Gold finished in 8th place overall and Cindy W. '26 earned an individual medal. Spence's team has a fun tradition-carried from last year-of putting on math tattoos during the lunch break.
