Home of the Sabers: 2022-23 and 2023-24 AAIS Quarterfinalists

In 2023-24 The Sabers returned to the AAIS Quarterfinals for the 3rd consecutive season. The JV Basketball squad is a competitive developmental team that serves to prepare student-athletes for a future opportunity at the varsity level. A challenging AAIS schedule prepares the team for an exceptionally competitive AAIS JV postseason tournament, mirroring the experiences of the varsity program.

 

The JV team began play in the state-of the-art 400+ seat Spence Gymnasium at 412 East 90th Street upon returning from the COVID hiatus in 2021-22. In 2018-19 the Sabers advanced to the AAIS semifinal with a youthful group preparing for future success at the Varsity level. 

 

Practices will be Monday through Friday, and home games will be at the 412 Gymnasium. Athletes are required to wear basketball sneakers.
